Beautifully illustrated invitation to Lincoln's second inaugurational ball, March 4th, 1865: with two vignettes of Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson with two columns on either side: top of the left column is an eagle with a snake in its mouth with an American banner floating down. The right column has an eagle with olive branches and arrows held in its claws and the banner floating down reads "E Pluribus Unum, We Are One Indissoluble." The invitation requests the honor of "Mrs. B. H. Congers" Company is Requested. All the managers of the inauguration ceremonies are listed as well. (7 x 9 inches).
