A pair of ribbons from the Grand Army of the Republic. 1) Honoring the memory of Kate Scott at the 45th National Encampment, Rochester, N. Y. 1911. Scott (1837-1911) a Civil War Army Nurse, served at Camp Jameson, Virginia. In 1897, she was chosen as Secretary of the National Association of Army Nurses. She was granted a pension by special Act of Congress. According to her biography, she was involved with Booth in a series of dalliances 1864-5! 2) New Jersy's 39th encampment in 1906 honoring Chas Curie. Two fine ribbons. Scott is rumored to have had John Wilkes Booth daughter.
