Black border and print, green seal and underprint, and bald eagle vignette. Printed by The Richmond & Backus Co., Detroit. Folds, tape repaired separations. 8.25 x 10.5" Henry M. Leland was an American machinist, inventor, engineer and automotive entrepreneur. He founded Cadillac and Lincoln. Cadillac was bought by General Motors and Leland left in 1917 to form Lincoln. It was founded by a wartime contract to build the V12 Liberty aircraft engine. After the war, the company was reorganized, and the Lincoln Motor Company Plant was retooled to manufacture luxury automobiles.
