Old Cooperage Companies Stock Certs c.18-900s, Group of four barrel making companies from the 18 and 1900's. Included is a cert issued by Knapp Metal Barrel and Package Company of Nevada to the son of the president of the company S.A. Knapp Jr for 1,000 shares at $1 per share. It's dated April 19th, 1916 and has a 50 cent red revenue stamp. Next is issued by The Single Stave Barrel Company to B.A. Gage for one share at $100 per share. It is signed by the vice president, (illegible) and secretary J.G. Poole and dated August 17, 1908, with no cancelation. Next is issued by St. Louis Hoop and Stave Company for 25 shares at $25 per share. It's dated November 1, 1889 and signed by John Frazor, secretary and William Newberry, president. Lastly, the Hercules Cooperage Company for five shares at $100 per share to T.B. Morris, dated March 14, 1901 and signed by Ernest Haager, president and M.T. Marx, secretary. No cancelation apparent.
