Here we have a very fine item. It is a hand colored, lithograph, out of Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspapers. It shows the California gold district at Kanaha Bar. It was located on one of the tributaries of the Sacramento river, where cold was first found ( At Sutter's Mill ). It shows the miners working the bed of the American River, and a lot of other jobs as well. Really great item, good colorization, and fine condition. Framed in old barn wood, clear plastic cover, excellent job. Size is : 19 3/8" tall x 23 1/4" long. Great for your man cave, or over your mantel. ( RH).
