According to an 1881 prospectus for the company that we sold in 2015, the mines were located in the Ruby Mining District of Gunnison County. This silver mining company owned property "in the heart of the district," bought in June 1876. Claims include: Little Willie, Green Mountain Boy, Uncle Sam, and Spike Tail Lodes.
