High Rarity 7. Extremely rare, with this one being the fourth example seen. Reeded edge. From Superior's September 1998 sale, lot #2301. Somewhat flatly struck but worth a grade of MS64. The Indian head Alaska Gold token series predates the A.Y.P.E. tokens, with auction records back to at least 1907. It is not clear who made these, but a set of 6 was included in the "Coins of the Golden West" set. There were
apparently several strikings of the tokens in this series since some die varieties are known with plain or reeded edges and on thick or thin planchets. Alaska HWAC# 33812
