Overall frame size 24" x 37" Art size 19" x 15.5" Signed Lower right inside Black buffalo mark . Dan Muller. Needs cleaning. Painted 1935, hung 1935 at the Town House.

This specific painting was the family favorite. Muller entitled the painting "Forgotten." It is a classic rendition of a pony left outside a lonely saloon during a heavy winter's snowy night. Smaller than the rest of the paintings, Muller didn't need any more room to show the loneliness of the horse left out in the snow while his cowboy sits inside a saloon at the bar, probably by himself, as we don't see any other horses tied up to the hitching post. It says magnitudes about the West.

In Muller's own words: "Jest a cowpony standing' knee deep in the' fallin' snow ... icicles ... wind ... his head turned f'm the' cold, icy blasts. His master? He's inside o' that saloon lickin' 'em up."

This painting was the first seen when entering the dancing hall part of the Town House.
