This .999 fine silver medal was issued to commemorate James Barton Longacre (the fourth chief engraver of the U.S. Mint) and George Morgan (the seventh chief engraver). The obverse depicts the Indian and Morgan heads made famous by coin designs with the words Freedom/America. One the reverse is the shield from the reverse of the Indian Cent, and the wreath from the reverse of the Morgan dollar, and the first mint in Philadelphia in 1794. 225 grams, in original box with paperwork.
