Why named the Lost Tunnel? In the year 1876 this tunnel was driven for silver, when gold was little sought...consequently the mine was then abandoned. On May 14, 1908 the Lost Tunnel Gold Mining Company Commences Operation under the superintendent of J. W. Phillips and E.D. Ford. 20 pages. 8 x 6". Five photographs with two of the old property.
