Lot of 27 mostly blank colorful RPC postcards of more modern airplanes, including Amelia Earhart's Lockheed Vega 5B, Apollo over the Caspian Sea, USSR, and the Spirit of St. Louis, the Ryan monoplane in which Charles A. Lindbergh in 1927 made the first nonstop solo flight across the Atlantic from New York to Paris. The brightly colored litho postcard of the 1935 King's Cup Race winner "Miles Falcon," is used and postmarked 1937. The race was from Ceylon to London, and the stamp is from Ceylon, now Sri Lanka.
