Serial Number: 683. The First National Bank Of Lovelock History: With $25,000 The First National Bank Of Lovelock was opened for business in March of 1905. The banks second president, L.A. Friedman was also in the mining business and served as mayor of Lovelock in 1918. $29,850 of small size notes were issued. One of the few national banks in this state to survive the Great Depression.
