Over 100 pieces in this archive of Lundy B. Hogue. He may have served in the Civil War, 15th regiment, Ohio Infantry. Lot includes letters (many letters are from his brother, A. S. Hogue who traveled Europe and wrote of his travels and the history of places he visited), receipts, applications for patents, mining claims, powers of attorney, bank notes, film negatives souvenirs and more. Hogue was affiliated with the Yellow Bird Gold Mining Co., Yuma AZ; also with The Saticoy Orchard Co. in California. Hogue often made notes on the backs of checks, letters, envelopes, whatever was at hand. Stewart and Hogue were manufacturers of The Stewart Ignition Plug. Stewart and Hogue had several patents on auto engine parts.
