February 25, 1913. #287 for 1000 shares to Zeb Kendall. Signed by president C. Burton and secretary E. A. Julian. Principal place of business is Reno. Allegorical vignette of female who has seen the light. Some edge rips and bottom left corner fold. Otherwise very crisp and clean. In 1915 Nevada’s boss, George Wingfield, bought this company. He was Nevada’s boss and a true corporation, banking, and mining magnate. E. A. Julian was Wingfield’s go-to guy with mines and other Wingfield companies. Zeb Kendall was also an important name in Nevada mining at this time. He was noted for taking and early lease on a mine on Mt. Oddie in Tonopah and the first lease in Goldfield’s big gold strike! C. A. Lundy invented an air-cooled engine, modified an automobile to work with it, and drove it around town. He never intended to manufacture it, just sell the rights to manufacturing company. Rare and important stock certificate. [Contains research done at the Nevada Historical Society with 35 pages of documents mostly description and letters to individual stockholders. Bios of Wingfield, Julian, Kendall and Lundy.] City:Reno, Washoe Co. State:Nevada Date:1913
