A 1917 photograph from Butte, Montana, picturing the funeral procession of lynched IWW official Frank Little. Little had come to Butte during a particularly violent labor dispute between mine workers and owners in order to encourage a strike; he was unfortunately kidnapped and hung by a group thought to be company gunmen, who were never persecuted for the killing. The photo is of solid quality and contrast, but has some staining from a rusty paperclip and a few scribbles in pen. It has an attached typewritten account of the lynching by a Butte resident.
