The "Sacramento" has no slug plate on the reverse. This is a dark cobalt blue. Both have iron pontils. Rancich, like the other Sacramento soda water manufacturers, moved his business around a fair bit during the 1850's, probably because of the floods. Both bottles should be personally inspected. Each has a tiny ice pick chip on the inside lip, a normal byproduct of the gold rush period. Holabird Collection. 30517 City: Sacramento State: California Date: HWAC# 30517
