Includes Calaveras Prospect billhead, Valley Springs, Sutter Creek, San Andreas, Stanislaus Milling billhead from Oakdale, Coulterville letter, Avery Hotel letterhead, Clipper Mills letterhead, 6 Sonora Foundry billheads in three different styles, AS Fass cigar billhead from Sonora, Scott, Davis & Co. from Soulsbyville, Wm Felker & Son blacksmith billhead, Rosenwald & Kahn dry goods Plymouth billhead, 38 pieces datelined Knights Ferry and Robinson Ferry (Calaveras Consolidated Gold, Harrold, Tulloch, & Son, etc.), Eagle Hotel from Sheep Ranch, bill from Joseph Ratto for filling bags of sulphurets, Alvina Hayward and C. C. Lane stage coach expenses, Valley Springs Hotel, W. H. Wolf and G. Reinhaus billheads from French Gulch, Rich Gulch receipts, E. N. Matson and James Woodcock billheads from West Point, Geo. J. Porteous assay letterhead about the Lickin Fork Mining Company, etc.

Valley Springs billhead of J. T. French, general merchandise. Hauselt Brothers blacksmith billhead of Murphys. Calaveras Union High School letterhead of San Andreas. Sutter Creek Foundry billhead. Buras Ranch handwritten bill. Richard Ranch hand written bill. Two Oakdale Stanislaus Milling and Power Company billheads. Letter from Coulterville: "...tell all the boys not to come here yet, but I think this will be a good camp." Six Milton handwritten notes, "Received of F. J. Dake ...the sum of two dollars and fifty cents for unloading car S. P. 72158 containing five hundred cases of powder." Let's see, that is 1/2 cent a case of powder!

Avery collection: Avery Hotel letterhead, Clipper Mills billheads (5) and letters (4).

Sonora archive: 6 Sonora Foundry billheads. Three different styles. Billheads for City Hotel, Carroll McTarnahan assayer, John Dorroh physician, Tuolumne Steam Laundry, A. S. Fass & Bros. cigars. Also one letter for draft of money.

Four Soulsbyville correspondences: Three from Scott Davis, & Co. All pertain to shipping sulphurets to the Utica Mine. One from Joseph Travelli asking for his Knights Templar sword! Soulsbyville is named after Ben Soulsby, who resided in the area during the California Gold Rush. Soulsby ran a lumber mill near the intersection of Community Drive and Soulsbyville Road. His contribution to society is forever embossed in the following elementary school song: "Drop on by, we're up the hill. We're the kids from Soulsbyville. See the town with the old saw mill, we're the kids from (No Suggestions). Living here is mighty fine, thanks to Ben Soulsby's old gold mine, come see us, if you will. WE'RE THE KIDS FROM SOULSBYVILLE!".
