1. Nevada- Commonwealth Mining and Milling Company, incorporated in Arizona. Cert. no. 95 issued to Eudoms Harden(?) for 2000 shares on Apr 17, 1906. Signed by W. J. Miller as secretary and J.D. Blammer(?) as president. Pamphlet design, 3 fold, signed by Harden again on original front (back). Black print, with ornate golden border and seal.
In top center 3 vignettes, center a birds eye view of the mountains of the area, both vignettes, left and right, depicting working miners underground. Bottom center a small, fine vignette of a lady. Back is printed in green.

2 Dayton Gold and Silver Mining Company, incorporated Apr 26, 1872; located in Nevada. Cert. no. 6086 issued to W.G. Crandall, Jr. for 50 shares at $100 each on Oct 23, 1877 in San Francisco. Signed by president A.K.P Harmon and secretary W.E. Dean. Black border and fancy font, small vignette of dog to safe, bottom center; printed by A.J. Leary, San Francisco. Not cancelled.
The companies mine, located in the Devils Gate District has been worked since 1860, described as "[...] one of the broadest and strongest ledges on the Comstock"(Ref: Pacific Coast Annual Mining Review and Stock Ledger Oct 1878, pg. 192)
