This stick according to Wilson and Bobrink is known as a "California" brand that was produced by the Ludlow-Saylor Wire Company. Stamped with "MENLO" on the face of the spike making this stick very rare in the collecting world. This stick measures 11" inches long, constructed from cast steel and the thimble was brazed on.
