Ultra rare. Location printed on certificate: Mines at Texas Creek, Gunnison Co. Principal Office at Buena Vista. Inc. in Colorado. No. 95, issued for 50 shares to Emily Ray Burrows on June 1, 1882. Secretary, Joseph Welch. Signed by Welch and the company president, Sharpe. Not cancelled. Vignette of stacked bullion bars (left). Rest of certificate is very ornate with a shiny background. According to 1885 Report of the Mint, the Madeline was worked with good results in the summer with two men constantly employed and ore shipped. One very small rip upper left. Otherwise quite spectacular to the TEN on reverse.
