Inc. in Colorado. No. 2061, issued for 1,000 shares to M.F. Stark, company treasurer, on March 1st, 1901. Signed by C.B. Seldomridge, president, and Conacher, asst. secretary. Not cancelled. Gold border and vignette of mountain with mine on it. Nice condition. Printed by Gowdy-Simmons Co., Colorado Springs. Owned the Magna Charta, Quartzite, and Annex on Ironclad Hill; and the North Star Placer and JBS Lode on Mineral Hill. Seldomridge is a name familiar to Cripple Creek historians. J.F. Seldomridge operated a grain business in Colorado Springs with his two sons (C.B. and Harry H.). It was this business that Bob Womack put a large piece of ore on display that got noticed by Ed De La Vergne, mineralogist. He identified it as high-grade gold ore and the rush to Cripple Creek began!
