The Majestic "Named in the Spirit of Prophecy". Eight Groups of Mines: 1) O.K. 2) Old Hickory 3) Vicksburg 4) Harrington-Hickory 5) Larkspur 6)Hoosier Boy 7) Copperfield 8)Treasure. 120 claims, 2,400 acres. 20,000 feet of underground development work - shafts, drifts, cross-cuts, winzes, etc. 8 page promo about the Majestic proposition filled with testimony from "intelligent businessmen from New England" including, Hon. Daniel N. Morgan, Ex Treasurer of the U.S. Conn. and H. R. Ayres, Mining Expert and Western Manager of Colorado Iron Works, Denver. Banquet meeting minutes and toasts are also recounted from A. B. Lewis, President, Judge C. C. Goodwin, William A. Farish, General Manager of Majestic Mines and others. Very collectible document; a textbook example of the big promises of huge returns and unlimited wealth marketed to investors during the mining boom at the turn of the Century, when billions of dollars in Western mining stock shares were sold. Most of that stock ended up being worth less than the decorative stock certificates held by the unlucky shareholders.
