This includes the Central Georgetown Tunnel, the entire water tower of Clear Creek and Belman Mine 115 acres, the Miami Mines and Wilcox Tunnel 100 acres, and the Consolidated mine 30 acres. The region through which the central tunnel passes has produced $100,000,000. First discovery of gold in Colorado was just north of Chicago Creek and the townsite of Idaho Springs.
