Colorful bond certificate for this company that was founded in England in 1897. No. A3575. Issued Feb 4, 1908 for 1 share / l lb sterling. Foreign revenue imprint, green border, and red font. Signed by directors and the secretary. Not cancelled. Twenty coupons attached. 16" x 10.5" with folds, some separation, and light soiling. The company opened the world's first radio factory in 1898 and was responsible for some of the most important advances in radio and television, including the diode vacuum tube and transatlantic radio broadcasting.
