Solomon Heydenfeldt, a well-known San Franciscan attorney and former California State Supreme Court Justice, was President of the company. The company issued bonds at $1000 per at 7% in 1875. This company was one of several established from part of the original Rancho Las Mariposas estate, a Spanish land grant owned by John C.
