1.The Hagerstown and Frederick Railway Co. was an electric railway in central Maryland that operated in some form or another between 1896 and 1961. Originally founded as several smaller companies to connect towns. #14, I/C, Eighteen Thirty Sixths of a share issued May 1917. Blue, embossed seal, no vignette, Security Bank Note Co. F cond.

2. Hagerstown and Boonsboro Railway Co. incorp. Maryland. #56, U/U, shares $50 par, dateline 19__, Black, no vignette. Wm. Mann Co printer. VF

3. Hagerstown & Northern Railway Co. #1, U/U, $50 par value, dateline 190_, vignette of eagle look l-r in red underprint over sunburst design. Wm. Mann Co printer AU

4. Hagerstown and Myersville Railway Co. incorp 1904. #2, I/C, 600 shares @ $50 par issued July 1, 1906 signed Christian Lynch President. Black, embossed seal, vignette top eagle look l-r holding Union shield over globe. Wm. Mann Co. printer. There is a "slit" through the presidents signature, not sure if due cancellation, but the certificate is clean, clear and crisp.
