Lot of four. 1) A McAlester & Co corner advertisement. 1887 CDS with wheel of fortune cancel on Sc U277. Town named for McAlester. He would also serve as U. S. Marshall. 2) First period cancel (1873-1885). Early purple CDS 1878. 3) Colorful orange CDS from 1882 and first period. 4) Nice advertising cover from the Osage Coal & Mining Company with pictorial of coal car with McAlester on it. 1885.
