Amalgamation & grains deposited by Mercantile Trust Company of San Francisco on May 7, 1909, 6.83 oz., total value $117.23. Signed by A. Norton for the Superintendent. This is an unusual customer for the mint--they must have been acting as agent for a mining company. Folds and light toning on right edge. Measures 6" x 11.5" Also, unused receipt for James J. Ott (Nevada City Assayer) and a 1934 document showing the Report of Production Source of Bullion or Ore to the State Mineralogist.
