Two-page report of ore assayed in February 1894 for deposits by the Mexican Mill. These reports came out of the William Sharon Archive and were tied to Sharon's Union Mill & Mining Company. Shows the analysis of 27 samples of ore drilled from 6 locations. The notations include depth, which lead us to believe these were samples of mill tailings. The Mexican Mill was located on the Carson River, about a half a mile from Empire City. In 1863, it had the largest water wheel on the West Coast [Ref:Ansari]. It is now the site of the BLM office. Sheets are 8.5 x 9" and 5.5 x 8.5".
