4 articles recovered from the Easton trunk found at the S.S. Central America shipwreck. 1.) men's shirt, possibly linen. Pleated for studs only. Stained, no apparent degradation, no patterns within the material. 23" sleeve inside seam, 33" top to bottom. 2.) Collar with 1 center hole, no button. 2.5x15". No apparent degradation, just stained. 3.) Socks, 10" toe to heel, 10" heel to top. No holes, but the socks show considerable use. Form fitting ankle. From the John dement trunk.
