There's no manufacturer label on this men's denim jacket. There are five button holes, four appear handstitched. tattered below shoulder, front left pocket removed as is the back panel. There's one white metal button intact and waist band is detached. The style of the pocket stitch attachment at the top corners is very distinctive, and the only pattern that is close, and apparently the same, is SR Krouse, who used this stitch pattern on their rear pant pocket.
Krouse had his first pant patent in 1875, but worked for Greenebaum, and later for Sachs. Krouse may have made this jacket while working for one of that pair, or in about 1883 under his own name, which was a very short lived operation. See Harris, p83, 85 in the 2010 edition. [] [] [] [] []
