These are three mercury flasks from Almaden, Spain. They are 5 in. in diameter and roughly 11 in. tall. Almaden, Spain has the largest natural deposit of mercury in the world. It closed operations in 2002 due to a European ban on mercury mining. One of the flasks is welded pipe marked "Almaden Espana" closed with a pipe plug. They usually held about 76 lbs. of liquid mercury.
