Marked Special Deposit. The 1882 Denver directory lists Dillon as a wagon maker. In the book "City of Denver" in 1890, Dillon Senior is listed as a wholesaler and retailer in heavy hardware, steel, iron, lumber, and carriage maker materials. His son Thomas Junior is working for him. In 1898 an ad shows Junior on his own as a merchant selling, among other things, weapons and ammunition. You are buying a used piece of history. That said, it is in quite good condition.
