All pendants with "Vincent" signature and "STER" stamped on reverse. Front of pendants are gray/silver metallic material with white marbling. Resembles Pyrite but written note with this lot states these pendants are made from slightly radioactive material that became popular after WWII. Apparently the plutonium was refined out of Uranium at that time leaving a malleable metallic compound sold to the "Luxury Class" for a variety of uses. In March 1950 Popular Science published an article written by Alden P. Armagnac entitled "Uranium For Sale" that is definitely interesting reading. At a time when "Vaseline" glass was gaining popular because the Uranium in the glass glowed with radioactivity, it is not a surprise that radioactive jewelry may trend as well. Four Pendants measuring 1"square (2 each), 1.5" and 2" in length. Retail price well over $175.
