Lot of four silver coins from Mexico. 1) KM #459: PCGS certified MS 66. Obverse: Estados Unidos Mexicanos in a semicircle over the Mexican coat of arms: a Mexican golden eagle standing on a prickly pear cactus devouring a rattlesnake. At the base of the cactus there is a holm oak (Encino) branch on one side and a laurel branch on the other. Denomination and year at the bottom. Reverse: Jose Morelos portrait facing right. Composition Silver (.100); Weight 16 g; Diameter 34.5 mm; Thickness 2.3 mm. 2) KM # 465: 1948 Cinco Pesos; Obv.: Deeply embossed Mexican eagle eating rattlesnake and perching upon prickly pear cactus with oak leaf; Lettering: ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS. Rev.: Aztec chieftain 'Cuauhtemoc' centered with surrounding lettering and repeating block "L" shape around rim date right side; Lettering: CINCO PESOS 30 GRAMOS . LEY 0.900 . Mo. Composition: Silver (.900); Weight 30 g; Diameter 40 mm; Thickness 4 mm. BU condition. 3) KM #471: 1959 Cinco pesos. Obv.: Eagle with snake in beak standing on cactus; Rev.: Venustiano Carranza facing left. Composition Silver (.720); Weight 18.055 g; Diameter 36 mm. BU condition. 4) KM # 479: 1968 Olympic 25 pesos; Obv.: The Mexican coat of arms (eagle facing left with a legend at the top), with the value to the left, and the silver purity and mintmark to the right.
