Collection of 30 varied stock certificates and bonds from the State of Michigan, c1873 through the 1950s. Included are (the oldest): The Northern Iron Company registered bonds, No. 13, first series for $50,000 issued in January 1873 to Sarah V. E. Harvey, with vignette of map of Michigan, ornate border and 9 out of 10 coupons attached, good condition with minor tears and folds; and Merchants Salt Block Company, No 71, 10 shares issued in 1902 to Lewis F. Scheid, with vignette of eagle, ornate border, three stamps, gold company seal, fair condition with some tears along two folds; and Michigan Peat and Marl Co., No. 57, 30 shares issued in 1904 to Fred W. Hughes, eagle vignette, ornate border, company gold seal, fine condition with two minor folds. Signed by presidents and secretaries. Some canceled, some unissued, some with stamps or coupons.
