Lot of 12 items with four original signatures. (1) General John J. Pershing, Commander-in-Chief of US forces during WW I, signature on cut card; (2) John S. Banks, Gen. Pershing's Orderly, signed handwritten letter dated 1968 with newspaper clipping w/photo of Gen. Pershing, Maj. Gen. Brewster and Capt. Fred Welsh; Note: included in this "sub lot" is a First Day of Issue US Commemorative Stamp/envelope honoring the US Army, postmarked Sept. 28, 1945; (3) Gen. Matthew B. Ridgway, key commander in Normandy landing during WW II, signature below return address envelope label, also newspaper clipping including portion of a story of Gen Ridgway's successful assault of Pointe Du Hoc; and (4) Sergeant Reginald A. Bradley, last of the Indian fighters; his signature and note card dated 2-6-1969; includes newspaper clipping and First Day of Issus US Commemorative Stamp/envelope honoring the American Indian, postmarked Nov. 4, 1968.
