Large collection of military and airplane related memorabilia. Includes the Crescent Color Guide to Military Aircraft by Michael Taylor; pistol, rifle, and carbine Army Field Manuals; two American Red Cross First Aid Textbooks; the Official Guide to the Army Air Forces Special Edition for AAF Organizations (380 pages); National Geographic reprint of December 1953 on the future of Aviation; magazine clipping of Nuclear Attack and Industrial Survival; Army Housewife sewing kit in green khaki cloth bag; two photographs of young men in uniform; US Army cloth patch; Aviation Stamp Classics issues for Amelia Earheart and The Dashing Brazilian; 1984 Iwo Jima 3-cent stamp presentation card; and about a dozen photographs and prints of various aircraft from airships to jet planes. Most poignant is a 1950 Western Union telegram from Washington DC informing of the death of PFC Glen Willard Skaggs, a Marine in Korea along with the handwritten reaction of a relative at the one-year delay in the return of the body to the US.
