Circa 1950 bright red metal case, wooden sided, three reel Mills nickel slot machine, wooden base, "A C E" in clubs is the jackpot. Height: 26 inches; Width: 16 inches; Depth: 16 inches. With two keys, and no cash box. Typed instructions to the owner inside back cover, probably written by Dick Graves, telling the owner how to make more money. Graves was a slot salesmen and operator from Boise Idaho who moved to Nevada in 1954 when he purchased the Carson City Nugget casino, when Idaho outlawed gambling. The Ascuaga family purchased the Sparks Nugget from Graves in 1960 and this machine along with others were passed along through the family over time. This machine is being sold on behalf of Michonne Ascuaga. Reels spin lazily when a coin is inserted, might need adjusting. We lost ten cents so far. [
