# 130 for 150 shares to O Trainer. Signed by William J Turner and Jacob Nitsehly(?). Dateline Philadelphia 1881. Incorporated October 3, 1880. Location: Myers [sic] District, Pima County. Not cancelled. Bold red underprint 'M B C M CO'. Underground mining vignette and allegorical woman with breast exposed. Nicks at fold edges. Otherwise excellent! In the eastern Meyers District most of the mines were incorporated under the name of the Mineral Bed Consolidated. The principal work was done on the Mineral Bed mine. By February 3, 1881 one shaft was already down 100'. It had to be timbered and preparatory work done on it when it was purchased. The intent was to go down another 100'. The Mineral Bed was probably the most famous in this district after ther Gunsight. [Arizona Weekly Miner in Prescott] Prag Collection State: Arizona City: Pima County, Mayers District Date: 1881
