This pair of miners hard hats is identical. The style of hat predates the Barta hats of the early 20th century. The lamp holder was patented December 1, 1925 by Lewis sharers of Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. Both hats are in excellent condition. Thanks to Dave Johnson's fine article in Eureka magazine October 1995. Estimate $300-$400. [
