Terrific Lot of (4) Mining Safety Lamps, from various manufacturers, all approved by the Bureau of Mines. Lamp #1 is a Koehler model, steel construction with brass connecting ring at center. Lamp #2 is a Wolf Safety Model, brass construction with steel base. Lamp #3 is another Wolf Safety model, this one constructed of aluminum with a brass safety approval seal. Lamp #4 is a Protector model, from the Protector Lamp and Light Co. of Eccles UK. It is constructed of brass and Nickle-plated brass. All four lamps are in excellent condition. They measure between 10" and 11" tall, approx. 3" in diameter. All have hanging hooks at their tops. All are heavy screw or riveted construction to withstand the rigors of mining. Beautiful pieces of mining history!
