Also a man appears to be operating a fly-wheel pump on the bottom left. 6 x 8 on 9 x 11" mount. Weak contrast. 2) Oct. 18, 1879 issue of Mining & Scientific Press. Articles on chemistry, Howland's undercurrent sluice-riffle, inside vs. outside amalgamation, the Sierra Mojada Mines, and more. Illustrated. Back two pages present but detached.
