Lot of 6. 1) T.C. Williams Co. cigar box label featuring a prospector holding a large nugget (10.75 x 10.75"). Vertical fold. 2) 1894 Selby Smelting & Lead Co. assay receipt. Deposited by SP Dorsey, superintendent. One 601 ounce deposit, .842 fineness gold and .148 fineness silver. Dorsey was working for the Maryland Mining Co. of Grass Valley. 3) Two postcards: RPC of miners standing at entrance to mine, not identified or mailed; and an early card of ColonelAndrews Famous Diamond Palace in San Francisco. 4) Keystone stereoview showing miners pushing carts full of rock underground in the Calumet-Hecla Mine in Michigan. 5) 1890 issued stock fro the Standard Mining & Ventilating Company. Issued in Portland Maine. Underground mining vignette. A pencil inscription says this is the same Standard Mine of Bodie, CA, but we can find zero evidence this is true. Likely this company was trying to profit from the name association. (Al Adams Gold Rush Memorabilia Collection) HWAC# 60076 Date: Location:
