Here is a little bit, of this n that. Item # 1 of 7: Embossed on the top end is : Made By Federal Sign System ( au ) / Federal / Safety First/ Electric Lantern ( ad) / Patented July 31, 1913 / Other Patents Pending ( ad) / ( (Electric ) Chicago, U.S.A.// Looks exactly like and old water tank, on a stand. 9 1/4" tall x 3 3/4" wide. Round base, 4 arms, that reach up to a central unit, with a light underneath.Also has large ,swivel handle. Strange looking item. Aluminum & steel combination. Item # 2 of 7 : Strange square metal can, with round openings at both ends. Also, one of the caped ends has a " Secret"compartment as well. 6 3/4" tall. Item #3 of 7 : 3 hooks for lanterns, on 2 brackets. 5" and 3 ", respectively. Item #4 of 7 : Hand made steel timber spike, 3 1/2" ( 1880's). Item #5 of 7" : Presentation piece. Mini anvil, and very early timber spike , on a oak base 4" wide ( Very Nice). Item # 6 of 7: Strange oil can lamp, with body spout. 6" tall , with belt flange, and bulbous body. Embossed around the outside of the base is: Brilliant Search Light Co./ Made in U.S.A / Inner base embossing reads: Pat Oct 21, 1902/ April 14, 1914. Minor paint wear. Item #7 of 7: Is a ringed holder & bracket for a " Fire Grenade". it reads: Red/ Comet / Automatic ( au) / Littleton /Colorado( ad)// No Grenade. Nice little collection , of unique items. (RH).
