UNCLAIMED MERCHANDISE: In the event that a successful bidder has paid in full for their merchandise but fails to settle outstanding shipping invoices or make arrangements for merchandise pickup within 60 days, HWAC reserves the right to declare the merchandise forfeited. This forfeiture will result in the merchandise becoming the property of HWAC and the successful bidder shall have no claim to or rights over the forfeited merchandise.
This original 1808 document is signed by two survivors of the Battle of Lexington & Concord: Sam Hoar and Joshua Brooks, both from Lincoln, Massachusetts. This is a warrant to notify officers of the town of Lincoln to take their Oath of Office. Offices include: Selectmen, Town Viewers, Scalers of Leather, Surveyors of Highways, Surveyors of Lumber. Three Selectmen signed: Sam Hoar, Joshua brooks and Ephraim Brown. Constable Ephraim Parks has signed on the back. Some water stains, but all is legible.
