We have two "Mira Paris" signed pieces in this sale of the same size with identical frames that measure approximately 30" x 48" or 32" x 50" with gold colored frame. The backs of both were sealed with paper, but we carefully opened the back of one piece and verified that the reverse is also signed "Mira Paris". The paintings are acrylic done on Crescent cardboard.

Several "Mira Paris" signed pieces in the same abstract style as these have sold online in recent years, many on Ebay and Live Auctioneers. Prices realized for these pieces varies widely, some selling for several thousand dollars. The online description all listings we located provided the same information on the artist, almost verbatim. We have not been able to verify the existence of this artist or the existence of any "Mira Paris Museum" in our research. This artist is not listed on reputable online artist databases, nor in our research library reference books. While these are original paintings, signed by an artist, it is not clear who the artist really is.

The following information on "Mira Paris" has been widely spread on online auction websites selling artwork.

Mira Paris was born in 1934 near the Russian border. His artistic talent was first noticed at the age of 9, but he was schooled to become a professional architect in Germany. His unusual expressionistic style evolved without the benefit of any artistic training. Described as cosmic, surreal, and abstract, his work has become world renowned. Mira's first exhibits were held in Nuremberg, Dusseldorf, and Frankfurt, Germany, later expanding into Austria, where he was shown in Vienna and Salzburg. As his popularity grew and his art gained more recognition, his work was exhibited in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Denmark, and various other cities. Mira is referred to as a reclusive genius and is also known as "the artist with the gilded mask." His artwork has now achieved international recognition. Mira Paris has the honor and distinction of having several ex- U.S. Presidents and dignitaries own his work. In the Nixon Library is Mira's "Eagle Protecting the Flaming World". The Mira Paris International Museum of Fine Art and Jewelry Paintings are certified and registered and sold from $5,500-45,000 US Dollars a piece. Both front and back of the paintings are signed by Mira Paris, and each painting originally included an individual certification.

Note: We were able to find one "Mira Paris" piece listed on Ebay with a "Certificate of Authenticity", from an organization that, to our knowledge, does not exist and cannot be found online, just like any Mira Paris museum, or famous artist.
