5 Total. 1) Letter from Glasgow to Booneville, Mo. Stamped postmark and ink '5'. Dated December 18, 1845. Visitors planned on taking a ferry to cross the river at Glasgow for a Christmas get together. "meet you and the children at 10 o'clock A. M. on this side of the Missouri either with a sleigh or carriage." "I think most likely, that I will send a black boy..."2-4) Three Glasgow letters sent to Baston of Richmond, Kentucky. 1864. One is a circular PAID over a 3 cent entire. Letter talks of corn crop and the number of bushwhackers. Notes that a company of 150 men now stand ready to deal with any problems. North and South issues??? 5) Also Pritchett Institute advertising cover.
