Single mitten made from denim pants found in the walls of an old building in Utah, 2024. Also found were a dozen or so denim pants and coveralls, all well-worn before being stuffed into the walls for use as cheap (but effective) insulation. The mitten is constructed of three pieces of denim, from what appears to be at least two different pants. Did this mitten get made from cut segments of worn out pants? probably. This is an important example of the reuse of denim in remote locations, where material was scarce (as was money), thus used for multiple purposes over time, including building insulation. [ Utah
