8" diameter, 4.5" tall, belly button start. This basket had 2 weavers. It starts with a 3 stick foundation with a Paiute wrap start, then changes to a 1 stick foundation. Possibly from the Topaz lake area where the Washoe and Paiute tribes came together creating transitional baskets. The design is more like Mono Lake Paiute. Identification by N. Delorme. Fred Wedertz Collection of Bridgeport. California
